About the speaker:

Jennifer Weichel, CVA

Jennifer Weichel is a Certified Volunteer Administrator with more than 30 years of experience. She specializes in building inclusive and sustainable volunteer systems, supporting staff, and navigating complex dynamics, including conflict management. She is the owner of a consulting and speaking business, partnering with organizations to strengthen volunteer engagement, leadership development, and effective program practices.

In addition to her consulting work, Jennifer serves as the Volunteer Specialist and Co-Lead for Extension Volunteer Management with Michigan State University Extension. She is passionate about mentoring professionals and creating practical tools for both teen and adult volunteers.

Jennifer holds a master’s degree in public administration from the University of Michigan.
