She also serves as the staff liaison for the Tulsa Area United Way’s board-level Diversity & Inclusion Advisory Council. Prior to her current role, Lexi was a Teach for America Corps Member, through which she taught Kindergarten and 1st Grade in Tulsa Public Schools. Lexi holds a Bachelor’s degree in English–Creative Writing from Kenyon College. She has three years of experience designing and facilitating DEI workshops for educators and nonprofit professionals. These opportunities empower participants to build essential knowledge for equity work, discuss personal identity, empathize with others, and dismantle systemic oppression. |
