We seek a Board as diverse as the communities our members serve. If you are passionate about AL!VE’s mission, can commit 10–15 hours per month, and bring skills and perspectives to advance our work, we encourage you to apply.
About Board Service
Board members:
Oversee the direction and management of the association
Lead projects and serve on committees
Recruit new members
Ensure a balanced budget and contribute to financial success
Represent AL!VE members at conferences and regional meetings
AL!VE’s Board is an active, engaged body that makes a tangible impact on the profession. Terms are three years (2026–2029), with the option to serve a second term. The board meets monthly via web-based technology, with a commitment of 2–3 hours weekly (10–15 hours per month), including meetings and leadership on committees or special projects.
