Our first ever in-person summit was organized and executed 99% by volunteers. That is the power of volunteerism. A group of people coming together with a shared passion to make a difference. From recognition programs to budgeting, AL!VE volunteers have not only learned and enhanced new skills, but have implemented them within their own organizations. Volunteering with AL!VE is a win-win-win-win: You sharpen your skills, enhance your organization, move the AL!VE mission forward and strengthen the profession on a whole.

Development Committee – General Members
  • Looking for four to six (4-6) volunteers serve on the Development Committee (5-7 hours monthly) or can be project based.
  • Volunteers help with sponsorship design, partnership development, donor engagement, prospecting, research, sponsorship fulfillment

  • Looking for four to six (4-6) volunteers to serve on the Marketing Committee (4–6 hours monthly) or can be project based.
  • Volunteers help with graphic design, newsletter prep, social media, writing press releases, blogs and website support

  • Looking for four to six (4-6) volunteers to serve on the Volunteer Engagement Committee
  • Volunteers help with volunteer newsletter creation, hosting new volunteer info sessions, AL!VE volunteer recruitment, engagement and recognition
