Celebrating National Intern Day: Investing in the Future of Volunteer Engagement
AL!VE is thanking the participants of our Career Development Pilot Program for National Intern Day!As we celebrate International Intern Day on July 30, we are proud to recognize one of the ways AL!VE is helping strengthen and advance the profession of volunteer engagement—through our Career Development Pilot Program.
Designed to provide meaningful, hands-on experience for emerging professionals, this pilot connects individuals interested in volunteer engagement, nonprofit leadership, and human resources with real-world opportunities that make a lasting impact. We would like to take the time to thank Arissa Kumasi, Emilda Terere, Bella Wichert, Debra Luther and MaryAnne Maina for all of their efforts and contributions.
Their work has included:
- Assisting with the development and structure of our Ambassador Program
- Supporting donor development efforts
- Responding to member inquiries through our information email
- Assisting with volunteer engagement initiatives
- Supporting the Service Enterprise program
- Contributing to special projects and organizational operations across AL!VE
Together, we're not only supporting today's professionals—we're investing in tomorrow's leaders.
