Dear AL!VE Members,
We had a great turn out for our two “Let’s Do This!” webinars where we shared with attendees how AL!VE was advocating for a stand alone volunteer engagement professional occupation code with the Department of Labor, and how stakeholders could advocate as well. Thank you to all who have made a public comment requesting a code, and for spreading the word and resources with your networks. We will keep you posted on the progress of this initiative via this newsletter, and also on our website.

I want to also take this opportunity to say kudos to the AL!VE board and committee members who drove the completion of our previous strategic plan a year early! The result has been the development of a new 2024-2028 AL!VE Strategic Plan which you can find here. In addition, to see what AL!VE accomplished last year, you can view the 2023 Annual Report here. Thank you for all that you do for your organizations, volunteers and our profession. Please reach out to me if you have any questions, or have feedback for your AL!VE board. You can reach me at president@volunteeralive.org Cheers, Cathy |
