Dear AL!VE Members, September is now in full swing, and with it brings another exciting and busy season for AL!VE, as your board and committee volunteers continue to work for the bright future of our Association.
This includes our search for AL!VE’s first Executive Director. The application deadline has been reached and we are now in our first round of interviews with the selected candidates. Second interviews will follow, with a final decision made by the AL!VE Board of Directors in the next few months.
We are also in the process of reviewing nominations for our 2025 open Board of Directors positions. Interviews will begin shortly, with AL!VE members voting on the full slate of candidates in the fourth quarter. We are looking forward to the new members joining our strong team who are dedicated to AL!VE’s mission and Strategic Plan.

The selection committee is hard at work reviewing the nominations and will be responsible for selecting the six awardees for 2024. This will not be an easy task, as the nominees have all made a significant impact in the field of volunteer engagement!
AL!VE’s new Executive Director, 2025 Board of Directors, and 2024 Impact Award Winners will all be announced at our Annual Meeting in December. Registration is open, click here.
Thank you for all that you do for your organizations, volunteers and our profession. Please reach out to me if you have any questions, or have feedback for your AL!VE board. You can reach me at president@volunteeralive.org Cheers, Cathy |
