Local Associations National Summit October 30

Event Description
Leadership from Local Associations are welcome to attend the Summit, and you do not have to be an AL!VE member to attend the summit.  Network, learn, share and bring your questions to your peers. We will have small group discussions on several relevant topics for local associations.
  • What do you want to tackle next year and are seeking advice about?
  • What tech/apps are making your work easier?
  • How can you be an influencer for your LA?
  • What has worked well for recruitment for you this year? Did you come up with anything new?

Date: Wednesday, March 27, 10am PT/1pm ET
Topic: Membership recruitment, increasing participation, and AL!VE benefits
Subtopics: Reduced fees, scholarships, who are the stakeholders to contact and recruit for membership
 
Q2 COP
Date: Wednesday, June 26, 10am PT/1pm ET
Topic: Meeting and event planning/refresh
Subtopics: 

Our panel includes representatives from Local Associations in Dallas, Sacramento and Pittsburgh, will discuss:  

  • Event varieties (breakfasts, coffee hours, mid-day, happy hours, book clubs

  • professional development training, networking) 

  • out of the box ideas

  •  planning calendars

  • increased costs 

  • with plenty of time for Q & A !

Topic: Board Insurance, Liability & Risk Management
Subtopics: Board insurance basics, why it is important; liability issues and oversight, risk management issues for Local Associations
