Leaders in non-profit organizations and community groups increasingly understand that volunteers can be a critical resource for delivering on a mission. Effective people management and community engagement is imperative – whether they be paid or unpaid. As a result, employers expect that those individuals tasked with mobilizing and coordinating volunteer engagement demonstrate a thorough knowledge of effective practices and an understanding of how to apply that knowledge in support of real-world organizational priorities.

Presented by Jordanya Reeves, CVA
Thursday, August 15 @ 2 PM Eastern for 90 minutes.
Volunteer engagement is a vital aspect of any organization's success, and measuring the impact of volunteers goes beyond just counting the number of individuals and hours served. In this presentation, we will explore innovative ways to enhance volunteer engagement metrics to provide a more comprehensive understanding of the value that volunteers bring to an organization.
About our presenter:
Jordanya has a deep passion for volunteerism and has dedicated 15 years to serving and coaching others as a Volunteer Engagement Professional. In her professional life, she is a Certified Volunteer Administrator (CVA) and she leads TD Mindpower: Analytics for Social Good, as the Volunteer Engagement Lead at TD Bank, supporting volunteers throughout the US and Canada.
Sharing her wealth of knowledge in volunteer management, Jordanya has been a speaker at various national conferences such as the ASC National Training Conference, Elevate 2024: Nonprofit Leadership Alliance National Conference, Virginia Volunteerism Summit, and The Salvation Army’s Better Together Conference. Additionally, she has conducted numerous workshops for nonprofits and local associations.
Formerly the President of the Dallas Association of Directors of Volunteer (DADV), Jordanya now holds the position of VP of Programs for AL!VE. Living in El Paso, Texas, she enjoys the desert life with her husband and daughter and loves traveling whenever she gets the opportunity!
AL!VE Academy Webinars are free for Individual, Agency and Local Association members.
